Carrie Wilson serves as Head of School for Bishop John A. Marshall School, located in Morrisville, Vermont, where she has worked for the past twenty-five years. Carrie graduated from Trinity College, earning her undergraduate degrees in both Elementary Education and English Literature. She began her teaching career as a first grade teacher and eventually assumed the roles of third grade teacher, Lower School Division Head, and Coordinator of Student Services. Carrie earned a Master of Education degree with a concentration in Curriculum from St. Michael’s College and became Head of School in 2007, a role she has enjoyed ever since. Carrie was awarded the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Distinguished Principal’s Award and has worked as a mentor for several Diocesan principals. Carrie joined NEASC’s Commission on Independent Schools in 2019 and loves to attend Commission meetings and visit schools throughout New England. Carrie lives in Jericho, Vermont with her husband and her two children; she enjoys running and reading in her spare time.
