CHARLIE IS A 2022 NEASC SERVICE AWARD RECIPIENT - CONGRATULATIONS!
Distinguished for his commitment to a diverse student body and a clear-eyed vision for sustainable school growth at Suffield Academy, Charlie Cahn is equally well known in the New England school community for his support of independent school education. With his exceptional background in traditional boarding and day schools, Charlie has served on numerous NEASC accreditation visits and twice as a Commissioner on the NEASC Commission on Independent Schools (1996-1998, 2017-2022). It is an honor to award the CIS Service Award to this close friend of NEASC and its member schools throughout Connecticut, where he also has generously served on the board of the Connecticut Independent Schools Association (CAIS).
